"Poolside"

 The Queen Kapiolani Hotel commissioned me to create a mural in their restaurant and pool bar last year. At the time, it was closed for renovation which meant I had my own private view of Diamond Head every day while I worked on the mural.  I would take my breaks in a chaise lounge beside the empty pool and soak in all the pop-art ambiance. The dancing reflections of palm trees and neighboring buildings were so captivating, I had to capture it in paint.  This painting is a celebration of those rare luxurious days spent poolside.

This fine art giclee reproduction is created on textured watercolor paper.  The hand-pressed paper texture gives each print the feel of an original painting.
