"Ti Party Pink"
$190.00
Before starting this piece, I had a vision of pinks and reds radiating warmth and love because that's what the Ti plant represents to me. I'm lucky to have a variety of ti in the yard of my art studio on the North Shore. When I got married in 2020, a good friend made my wedding lei po’o using ti leaves from my studio. The love she poured into it was so touching, I dried it and hung it on my wall as a memento of my favorite day. The Hawaiian Ti plant is traditionally used in hula skirt and lei making. In Hawaiian culture, their leaves represent the gods of fertility and hula.
This fine art giclee reproduction is created on textured watercolor paper. The hand-pressed paper texture gives each print the feel of an original painting.
